The E Series mantles have an energy regulator which uses a time proportional double pole system to “ramp” the heater giving stable control and reducing any risk of overheating the liquid. A dial setting allows approximate temperature selection.

The elements are insulated from the case by moulded silica powder to give excellent thermal insulation and very low case temperatures.

A soft fibre glass woven mantle provides good impact protection and the close surface contact allows optimum heat transmission to the flask.
