Lovibond Checkit Direct Photometer - Multron Indotech The microprocessor-controlled Checkit photometers are pre-programmed for specific test methods and calibrated in the Lovibond® laboratory. The single-parameter Checkit® models each offers 1 test method, while the multi-parameter Checkit units are programmed for a number of different parameters. The Checkit units supply accurate, reproducible results very quickly. Other major advantages include ease of operation, ergonomic design, compact dimension and safe handling. The LEDs used as a source of light have long term stability giving monochromatic light emissions with low power consumption. The sample chamber ( the most critical part of any photometer) is fully sealed, ensuring that water cannot come into contact with the electronic components. Thanks to the size of the sample chamber, it is easy to clean the light ports ( windows) . The calibration and the software-based adjustment options mean that the PC checkit® is also suitable for use as a testing instrument. As it is battery operated, the unit is suitable for both field and laboratory use. The test are conducted either using Lovibond® tablet reagents with long-term stability and a guaranteed minimum 5 or10 shelf life or using Lovibond® tube tests
